While many steelheaders have stopped fishing many of our southern Ontario tributaries, others are still having productive days fishing any open-water areas that have an “all-year” open season waters.
Mickey Joseph sent us some images of the fish he continues to catch fishing the Lake Huron tributaries. The fish above was caught drifting a roe bag.
He is fishing open-water areas using both roe bags and artificials. The above fish was caught on a wobbling spoon. Mickey prefers to use a steelhead spinning outfit because it gives him the versatility of fishing both artificials and bait.
