Lake Erie Smallmouth Bass Action.
Posted on October 4th, 2010[singlepic id=1358 w=320 h=240 float=]This is an excellent time of the year for bass anglers that love to fish Lake Erie. Smallmouth Bass are in their fall transition. That means that you can catch fish as shallow as 10′ casting soft and hard jerkbaits, crankbaits and jigs/grubs, or target the smallmouth that are already feeding on the 30-40′ reefs, miles off-shore. Weather has been a big factor lately and strong winds/rain have kept many anglers off the water. As soon as the weather stabalizes the fishing should be good again.
