Lake Erie, ON Walleye & Rainbow Trout Fishing Report.

Tyler & Jason Howick report. Finally got a decent day on Lake Erie with calm conditions and light winds. We trolled 61-65 feet of water and boxed 12 walleye and 4 rainbows with the usual parade of sheepshead.

5 and 7 color leadcore off of planer boards and 11 color flatline caught most of the walleye. Riggers down 47. and 34 feet with 75 and 100 ft leads took some walleye and bows. Dispeys on 3 setting back 120 and 140 ft and Jet Divers (30 and 40) 200 back off of boards slammed a few bigs eyes. The hot color of the day was definitely orange – Jerry Lee, Orange Crush, Greasy Chicken Wing and Orange Chilly Willy produced big-time. We also went out Wednesday during some very windy and rough conditions. Went 3/4 on the eyes and got two bows fishing shallower 58-60 feet of water.
