Brock & Mitchell Deba had fun catching largemouth bass fishing in one of the many protected Lake Erie, ON harbors.  In case you didn’t know, all weedy bays on both Lake Ontario and Lake Erie make for ideal largemouth bass habitat.  Marina basins, boat docks and moored boats are some of the hot-spots.

These marina basins normally have a silty bottom, the water depth is less than 10′, and there is lot’s of aquatic vegetation growth.  In many cases fishermen overlook these areas because there is lot’s of boat traffic, which means the largemouth bass for the most part remain un-disturbed!

If you live close to a marina basin, or shallow, weed-filled bay along Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, ON you may have some great largemouth bass fishing that very few people are taking advantage of!
