Tracey John Hittel reports. Another fishy week up here in the Skeena Kitimat region of BC. Steelheading is great, river conditions are very good, except a bump in level a few days ago but it only took one day to clean up the river.
With the Steelhead starting to stage themselves to spawn we encourage the proper handling and release of fish. Data tells us that only 10 percent of Steelhead in full spawn survive if not handled properly, astounding.
I’ve attached a few of the great shots we took this past week and look forward to another new group of anglers arriving from England, BC, Japan, USA and Denmark.
