Kesagami Lodge TV shoot produces lot’s of walleye.
Posted on June 2nd, 2010[nggallery id=235]Besides getting lot’s of trophy pike on buzzbaits and Lucky Strike spoons, we also caught our share of walleye. Each day we spent most of our time hunting-down big pike in the reeds, but before shorelunch, we took time to fish some of the points and bays to catch some of the plentiful Kesagami Lake walleye. All of our fish were caught using Rapala ultralight FS2 & Avantis spinning outfits and the TS2 baitcsater equipped with a Shift baitcasting reel. Jigs/plastic grubs and Lucky Strike spinners/plastic grubs produced all of our fish. The average Kesagami Lake walleye is 1-3 lb. in size, but we caught several fish in the 20-22″ range. Besides enjoying delicious shorelunches, we also shot a quality walleye show that will feature all of the equipement, techniques and tips we used to catch our fish. If you would like to enjoy Ontario wilderness fishing at it’s best for walleye and monster pike, make sure to contact Kesagami Lodge.
