Keep it simple of shoreline smallies.
Posted on October 23rd, 2016I fish from shore whenever I get a chance, especially when I’m at home and I need some fresh air and I head down to our local fishing spots with our two pups. I find that you don’t need a lot of fancy gear or a big tackle box. Less is more, especially when you are walking long distance, sometimes cutting through the bush and going up and own shorelines to get fishing access.
Rob Laveigne has been doing consistently well just fishing a 1/4 oz jighead with a 3″ white twister-tail grub. Sometimes he fishes it along the bottom, other times he swims it through the water column. Both presentations are working. One advantage of fishin a twister-tail/jig combination is that you can cover all water depths.
