Kawartha Lakes, ON pike and walleye action.

Posted on October 4th, 2014

eric_deba_walleyeThe Deba kids had a chance to catch some nice fish in the Kawartha’s in the past few days. Eric Deba caught his beautiful walleye fishing below the Lindsay, ON locks in the Scugog River.

darlrymple_pike02The Deba’s also ended up fishing on Dalrymple Lake and caught some nice pike. Fall is an excellent time to look for pike around open-water weeds/structure where they feed heavily before the colder weather sets-in.

darlrymple_pikePike are great fighters and excellent eating if you know how to remove the ‘Y” bones. They especially taste very good from colder waters! Make sure to take advantage of our great southern Ontario fall weather and go fish!
