Kawartha Lakes night-time Walleye.

Posted on October 8th, 2017

Our good friend Mark Wilson who loves the challenge of walleye fishing on Balsam Lake, ON has put a program together where he has been following walleye during the day in water as deep as 25′ and also getting them as they move shallow at dusk and at night to feed. He is using jigs right on top of shallower structure after nightfall. Many walleye anglers will also be fishing current areas in the Kawartha’s after dark either below falls or dams as every night walleye will be making feeding migrations to moving water.
