Kawartha Lakes ice-crappie.

Posted on February 22nd, 2016

Our good friend Ed Dolstra is continuing to catch good-size, tasty ice-crappie in the Kawartha Lakes.

He has been tragetting his fish in 5′ of water and fishing small live minnows near the bottom. Crappie are already starting to move into shallower water in many of our Kawartha Lakes in anticipation of ice break-up. As soon as that happens get ready to fish those small bays and around the boat docks!
