Kawartha Fall Hawg Largemouth bass.
Posted on October 21st, 2020If you thought summer is the best time to catch “hawg” Largemouth Bass, you may want to re-think that theory.
Josh Westerink and his friend have been landing lots of big bucket-mouths just fishing shorelines and weeds using everything form soft-plastics and flippin’jigs. Largemouth bass feed heavy before waters get really cold and remain in the shallows until the weeds start to die. Any fair-weather day is a good excuse to get out in the Kawartha Lakes, ON and take advantage of the excellent bass fishing with little competition from other boats.
