Jordan Dorion’s top 3-catches!
Posted on October 6th, 2017Just had to feature young Jordan Dorion from Sudbury, ON who has a strong passion for fishing and when you see his trophy catches you will know that he is a natural for catching fish! Here is his story and top three memorable catches.
“To start I just want to say what a huge fan I am of the show. I’ve been watching Canadian Sportfishing my entire life. This show has taught me many valuable keys to catching bigger and more fish. My mother Christine Armstrong emailed you earlier about sending you some pictures and short story on how I caught them. I am honored to able to share my experiences with you and your viewers/readers. I have caught many beautiful fish but I will share my personal top 3 catches and what I was using.
This first one and personal favorite is my Aurora Trout from this weekend. This fish measured 20.5 inches long by 15.5 inches in girth. I fished for 20 hours in 2 days before I got this bite and it was totally worth it. I caught it on a EGB spoon vertical jigging in 30 feet of water.
The 2nd is my 52 inch Musky from this spring. I was fishing for smallmouth bass from shore when this Musky smashed my 3 inch red and silver Williams Wabler. I landed the fish on 10lb test with no wire leader, net, or pliers.
My 3rd most memorable is my Pink Salmon from 3 years back. This beautiful early run Pink was caught on a black and green woolly bugger fly. Estimated weight around 6-7 pounds.”
Well done Jordan!! Looking forward to seeing more of your impassive catches.
