It’s great to take someone fishing for the first time!
Posted on October 7th, 2009[singlepic id=543 w=320 h=240 float=]Last summer I had the privilege of taking Amir Gissin, the Israeli Consul General to Toronto & Western Canada fishing for the first time. I had met Amir and we were planning a major filming trip to Israel where we planned on fishing the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the Sea of Galilee and the headwaters to the Dan & Jordan River. To get to know each other a little better we agreed it would be a good idea to do a couple of fishing shows on the Upper Bay of Quinte so that we could not only show viewers some great fishing action, but also share the many things Canada & Israel have in common. Amir brought along a Yehuda Alcaslasy, a neighbour to also enjoy the fishing with us. Well, we had excellent fishing and caught largemouth bass, walleye, pike and even a surprise gar pike. In addition to enjoying the great fishing, we also enjoyed a fresh-fish shorelunch! As you enjoy this programs, also keep an eye out for the TV programs we shot in Israel, they are unique, with lot’s of fishing action, great tips and beautiful images of Israel and it’s culture.
