Kawartha Panfish mix.
Posted on June 14th, 2022We are getting good reports that the panfish fishing has been good in the Kawartha Lakes, ON. Anglers are using live bait and also small grubs to catch chunky panfish in 4-7′ of water around weeds.
Ed Dolstra love to enjoy a mix of panfish and as you can see from his catch, he’ll have a couple of nice meals to enjoy.
The panfish fishing will get better as water temps warm up and panfish start to school-up on weedlines in shallow bays and also around clumps of open water weeds.
Rice Lake is one of the top Bluegill and Pumpkinseed producer.
Lake Simcoe around Keswick, ON should be excellent right now for big Rock Bass that like to move in around the big rocks right at the mouth of the marina basin there.
