Lake Simcoe, ON Pike.
Posted on June 22nd, 2022Many anglers think of Lake Simcoe, ON as one of the best lakes to fish in the winter time for jumbo Perch, Whitefish & Lake Trout and rightly so. But Lake Simcoe also has an excellent Pike fishery throughout the open water season.

John Grdosic had a chance to fish Cook’s Bay casting silver spoons and reports that fishing has been good for Pike in the 6-10lb range.
Key areas to target Pike in Lake Simcoe are:
-Cook’s Bay
-the area around the mouth of the Talbot River
-the bays and narrows leading to Lake Couchiching
-Kempenfelt Bay
