Insider Club Winner, Rob Yallup joined be fishing and caught trophy Lakers & Rainbows.
Posted on November 25th, 2009I had the chance today to fish with Rob Yallup, winner in the Insiders Club Fish with Italo contest on the famous Niagara River. We met at 8am at the Queenston Boat Launch and within minutes we were on the New York side drifting for trophy trout. Rob hooked his first fish on his second cast and it turned out to be a trophy lake trout. We fished both spawn sacks and single eggs and caught lake trout and rainbow trout on both. I also had the chance to test some of the new Rapala Shift baitcasting rods with the new Volt and R-Type baitcasters and they both performed extremely well on both lakers and rainbows.
