We checked in at the Yamuna View Hotel, and after lunch, we left to film at the the famous Taj Mahal.  One of the wonders of the world, it took 22-yrs. and approximately 20,000 people to complete this enchanting mausoleum on the bank of the Yamuna River.  As you near this monument, you can see the hords of people going through to witness this famous site.  For those of you who may not know, one of India’s kings built the Taj Mahal out of love for his deceased wife.  Inside the Taj Majal lay buried both the king and his beloved spouse.  This king had 4-wives, but one of them he loved so much that he build this masterpiece that is one of the seven wonders of the world.  The Taj Mahal is inlaid with semi-precious and precious stones such as Jasper from Punjab, Jade & Crystal from China, Turquoise from Tibet, Lapis Lazuli & Sapphire from Shri Lanka, Coal & Cornelian from Arabia and Diamonds from Panna.

We also filmed at the Agra Akbar International, a special artisan marble working factory where the original family decendants that build the Taj Mahal continue the intricate artwork of cutting, grinding and in-laying precious and semi precious stones into marbel, just as it was done when the Taj Mahal was constructed.  You will see the excellent footage we shot there in one or more of the fishing shows we are producing in India!
