We started our day by visiting the Wind Palace in Jaipur, India which is located downtown and is very breathtaking. At the same time we also did a segment on “wedding horses” that are traditionally used when men are about to get married in India.
From the Wind Palace we headed to the main monument in Jaipur which is the Amber Palace. It’s history can be traced back to the 12th century. There we enjoyed an elephant ride to the palace, and also talked to fishermen who were catching carp and catfish in the lake in front of the palace.
Along the drive back from the Amber Palace, we also stopped and filmed at the Summer Palace which is located in the middle of a lake that is full of tilapia!
Next we travelled to film at the Jewels Emporium in Jaipur. This is one of the jewelry emporiums in Jaipur which uses traditional techniques to melt/fashion gold/silver jewelry and than adornes them with precious and semi-precious stones. Every piece is a work of art and not one piece is duplicated!!
