I had a chance to check-out some of the Lake Ontario tributaries yesterday and did much driving and little fishing. Most were iced-over, but Mulligan found some open water and we managed to catch a few.
We did not start fishing until about 2pm and still hooked 3-nice bows!
Fresh roe-bags did the trick tied in yellow netting and fished in 3-4′ runs. With a mild few days I have a feeling many steelheaders will be out this weekend. Some of older-guys will be sleeping in!
