Our good friend Connor Grdosic loves to fish open-water in Canada and Florida and especially ice fishing for Splake in remote wilderness lakes. Besides catching fish he loves to eat fresh-caught fish.
Connor likes to prepare his fish fresh (without freezing) and uses a simple recipe that is delicious, healthy and doesn’t take away from the amazing flavor of Splake.
He just takes whole fish removes the head and entrails, salts and peppers them, adds a few slices of lemon inside the body cavity, a little butter and gently lays them on a electric grill.
Talk about fast, easy and very healthy and tasty!
