Haliburton area fishing report. 20″ Smallmouth caught on topwater Skitter Pop

The water temperature in the Haliburton area has finally broken 70 degrees and the fish have become more active. Smallmouth were relating to boulders and rock, and at the primary break to deeper water. Soft plastics such as tubes and stick baits were producing as were topwater lures like the Skitter Pop that brought in this nice smallie.
