Gull Lake, ON producing good catches of lake herring & whitefish.
Posted on February 9th, 2010My friend Karl Dickob just came back from an ice fishing trip on Gull Lake, ON and reports that the lake herring and whitefish are active. His friend Allan, who fishes almost every day took him out to one of his favorite spots where he has been doing well all winter long. They fished about 3-hours and caught 1-whitefish & 12-herring. A few days before Allan was fishing the same area and had quite a day. You can see from the image below that the herring are plentiful and of good-size.
