Grand River, Caledonia, ON Rainbow Trout Update.
Posted on November 5th, 2009Gabor Horvat reports. I had a chance to fish the Grand River in Caledonia, ON for migratory rainbow trout. The early morning frost was cold on my fingers when I started fishing. The sun came out quickly and I warmed up. I fished from the western-shore and hooked my first fish. One more fisherman had one on, but lost it. I used row bags, drifting with the current. The water was moderate clear, the water level was normal.

That was the only action for the day. After 3 hours fishing I decided to go home. Some guys were disappointed because they had not luck, but the weather was so nice and being outside was a bonus already.
