While avid steelheaders will fish in any conditions including cold, wet weather, female anglers are less likely to get out with their “significant-others†when the weather is poor. This week Shelly & Jessica took advantage of the seasonal temperatures and sunny days to fish for post-spawn migratory rainbow trout at the Wilmot Club on Wilmot Creek, ON The women used long drift-rods, light-line, small #12 steelhead hooks, a sensitive float, and fresh rainbow trout spawn-sacks to catch their trophy trout.
