Noel Gyger reports. Mixed precipitation with highs of +2 degrees Celsius. Rivers in good shape. Kalum River is fishing well for Steelhead. Skeena River in good shape but frozen over in many spots. Steelhead fishing has slow as most of the summer-run fish have gone through. Lakelse River is fishing well for Steelhead, fish the deep cut banks. Zymoetz (Copper) River is fishing well for Steelhead but sections of the river are frozen over. Reg: No Fishing upstream of the sign at the transmission line crossing (downstream of Zymoetz Canyon) Jan 1 – June 15. Steelhead fishing below this closure is still permitted. Just need to find some open water and give it a shot.
