Georgian Bay, ON tributary drift-boat TV show.  Aaron Shirley, Mulligan and I had a real treat working with Graham Bristow and his assistant who operates a http://www.aperfectdrift.com/ , and guides angler for a variety of fish ranging from smallmouth bass, pike, & musky.   Graham has been busy alternating guiding trips between boat-fishing on Georgian Bay for trophy musky to drift-boat fishing on the more popular Georgian Bay tributaries.

On this day we decided to do an 8km drift and produce a trophy smallmouth bass TV show.  For those of you that have not drift-boat fished the Georgian Bay tributaries, it’s the perfect way to fish areas that are only accessible by drift-boat and that offers excellent scenery, wildlife and of course, fish!!

We ended up catching of smaller bass including some nice fish up to about 4 lb.  At the end of the day Aaron also landed a nice-size pike fishing one of the many runs.

We both used Rapala rods & Rapala reels loaded with Sufix 832, 10 lb. test braid lines and Sufix fluorocarbon leaders.  Our top producing lures were the Vibrax #3, and a TriggerX 4″ tube rigged with a 1/8 oz. tube jighead.

If you are looking for an excellent adventure fishing some of the nicest rivers that flow into Georgian Bay, Graham can take you to the fish on a fabulous drift-boat experience.  He caters to bait, fly and lure fishermen, and he also guides steelhead, salmon and resident trout in the tributaries in addition to smallmouth bass, pike and musky through the summer and fall months.
