G2 Angling Ice Fishing Report – fishing has been HOT to say the least…

” Over the last week walleye fishing has been HOT to say the least…Our groups are averaging 20 to 25 walleye daily, with approx 2 or 3 a day breaking the 10lb mark and some breaking the 12lb mark!!! Given the recent cold snap the ice were are fishing on is safe. Approximately 5-6 inches of solid black ice. Caution should always be exercised when heading out as ice thickness varies from area to area. Be sure to check with the local tackle shops or guides before heading out.
As per usual, our best baits have continued to be the Northland Macho Minnow and the Northland Buck Shot Rattle Spoon. However, even with the use of those dynamite baits, it’s the technique that actually entices the strike. The baits + the G2 Technique equals a method that is sure to land you more hook ups!
