[nggallery id=861]While we are still experincing winter-like temperatures in early spring, my friends back in Florida are nice and warm and having hot fishing action.  I keep in regular contact with our good friends Izzy & Shoshana Avramovitz, and Mike Scarlett.  You can tell from the images above that they are still enjoying excellent off-shore and in-shore action.

Mike landed the trophy redfish fishing one of his favorite areas near the mouth of the Mayakka River, FL, using theTriggerX chartreuse tube ,  4″  tube fished with the Rapala Shift and Concept Ti rods matched with Rapala Shift reels, and Rapala Andros spinning reels, both loaded with Sufix 832, 10lb. test braid and Sufix Fluorocarbon leaders.  while Izzy & Shoshana caught some jumbo sheepshead fishing the reef several miles off-shore from Englewood, FL.  They fished live shrimp on drop-shot rigs with 1 oz. bell sinkers and #4 Circle Hooks.
