[nggallery id=882]Today I got to play guide as my wife Barbara, our pup Mulligan and I fished with our good friends Howard and Lena Katz who are down for a short visit.  We decided to fish he same grounds where Barbara and I did well yesterday.  Conditions were good and we were again able to fish a rising tide fishing spoons in 4-12′ of water.

Our guests and my wife Barbara caugth a nice mix of bluefish and jacks and we again enjoyed a delicious fresh fish dinner!

We used  Rapala Shift rods and theRapala  Magnum Baha saltwate rod matched with with the Rapala spinning reel and loaded with Sufix 10 lb., 832 braid & 20 lb. Sufix fluorocarbon leader. I used our  Minn Kota Riptide electric and Minn Kota Talon anchoring system to locate and than hold where the bluefish & jacks were feeding.  Again the top producing lures were the Blue Fox series of casting spoons
