Florida beach fishing…sharks anyone?
Posted on March 27th, 2017Our good friend Tyler DeGraff has been enjoying the Florida beaches, not for it’s swimming, or bikini-watch, but for some exciting beach-shark fishing.
Canadian anglers taking a Florida vacation will be happy to hear that you can get a variety of smaller fish right off the beach, and if you have the right gear, like a heavy-duty rod and high-capacity reel with heavy monofilament line, you can also target sharks.
Sharks of all sizes can be caught off the beach ranging in size form 2-3′ long, right up to 6-9′ long. Best bait to use is either a large chunk of/or whole mullet, mackerel, bluefish, or jack.
