Many Canadians and northern Americans are migrating to Florida to take advantage of warm-weather, beautiful beaches and fishing.
This is one of many anglers I spoke to this morning while walking the beach with our pup Mulligan. He had a nice catch of whiting (about a dozen fish in the cooler he is sitting on). Whiting are a common fish that can be caught feeding along the Gulf beaches. One of the easiest ways to catch them is to use a piece of shrimp. They may not be large, but they are plentiful and are very tasty…much like our freshwater perch!
