Fisher Girl Michelle MacMillan catches lot’s of walleye on the Jewel Rod & Reel combo.
Posted on July 20th, 2010[nggallery id=279]Hello Italo. I wanted to touch base with you and let you know that I am really impressed with the 6′ pink fisher girl rod & reel! My father and husband are very “hard core” anglers and thought when I bought the rod, reel and hat that it was going to be a joke….well I proved them wrong! I caught 11 walleye on the Bay of Quinte and we kept 5. Both my father and husband could not believe it! They thought the pink line would not attract fish and as mentioned the whole fisher girl gear would not work. They even told me to take a 2nd rod for backup…
I have made believers’ out of both of them! The reel cast and retrieve is smooth and I love the lights when the reel is spinning. They asked me, where did you find out about this fisher girl deal? I told them I was watching Canadian Sport Fishing and saw a segment that Italo was promoting about fisher girl gear. That’s when I had to have it!
My father and husband love your show! I personally would like to thank you for promoting fisher girl gear. It has definitely intrigued my interest in the sport of fishing, now I can be fashionable while angling. I will be telling my girl friends about this and you can be sure they will love it!
Thanks again for everything you do for the sport! You have definitely opened the minds of young girls and women of all ages that fishing can be and is a cool thing to do!
