Finally, some winter weather!

Ice anglers have been waiting for some consistent colder temps. and they  have arrived! Our good friend Aldo Nava @niagarafishingadventures.com , just came back from icefishing from Port Bolster,  Lake Simcoe, ON.

Now is the time to take advantage of safer ice conditions and make the most of it before it gets mild again.

While it may not be safe to fish miles on the ice from shore for whitefish and lakers, many anglers are focusing on jumbo perch.

Jumbos are plentiful. You can catch them in water as shallow as 10-13′, or deeper and if you locate a school you can catch enough for a decent meal!
