Fall reservoir Smallmouth action.
Posted on October 12th, 2022Our good friend Gabor Horvat loves to fish the southern Ontario reservoirs in Conservation Areas for fall smallmouth bass.

His strategy is to cast crankbaits along rocky shorelines and even open-water just off the shorelines for feeding Smallmouth Bass. As fall temperatures drop and surface water temps get colder Smallmouth Bass converge on shorelines as shallow as 5′ in search of baitfish. This is one of the best times of the year to simply cast crankbaits along the shorelines.
Make sure to check the fishing videos on our Italo Labignan YouTube channel and if you have any questions just email them to me at Ask Italo throughout our www.canadian-sportfishing.com website.
