Erie Walleye.
Posted on August 17th, 2022The Grdosic family are enjoying fresh-caught Walleye meals from recently trolling Lake Erie, ON. The boys were trolling in the 45-60′ depths and confirm that the Walleye are suspended and hitting worm-harness in the eastern Lake Erie basin and spoons and hard-baits in the western-end of the lake.

Conner Grdosic has become an expert in not only filleting their fish but also removing the “T-bone” along the lateral line.

It helps to have a good fillet knife and the Original Rapala wood-handled 6″ fillet knife is ideal.

Clean, rinsed and dried fillets are ready to keep in the refrigerator for up to 5-days or to freeze and enjoy later.

Lake Erie is truly one of North America’s top Walleye fishery and summer time is the best to take advantage of catching them.
