Detroit River, ON Fall Walleye.
Posted on November 17th, 2021Our friend Scott Clark made his way down to the Detroit River, Windsor, ON to try some shoreline fishing. Spring & fall are excellent times to intercept Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair Walleye that converge to the Detroit River to feed heavily before winter.
Scott was fishing a 5/8 oz. jighead with a plastic grub along the bottom off the public fishing area in Windsor, ON.

In the past Scott has done well there fishing the Fishing Compete Italo’s Minnow close to the bottom.

Nov. is an excellent month to target Walleye in the Detroit River. Just make sure you pick days where the water is not too rough or to murky. Walleye can literally be caught from shore both in La Salle, ON and along the Windsor, ON waterfront.
Make sure to check the fishing videos on our Italo Labignan YouTube channel and if you have any questions just email them to me at Ask Italo throughout our www.canadian-sportfishing.com website.
