Detroit River, ON eating-size Walleye action.
Posted on May 11th, 2022We continue to get good reports that the Walleye fishing on the Detroit River, ON is producing good numbers of eating-size Walleye ranging from 2-3lb.

Boat and even kayak anglers are taking advantage of this amazing spring “jigging’ fishery.

Shoreline anglers are also catching their share of fish but water conditions make all the difference. Murky waters from Lake St. Clair winds makes for difficult fishing but as soon as it clears-up, fish become very active. Best set-up is braided line, 5/8 oz. jig head tipped with a 4″ plastic minnow fished right along the bottom.
