[nggallery id=874]After shooting an excellent TV show with Jeff Ives fishing for walleye and white bass, Pat Pagano joined me and we went across the Detroit River to Michigan, USA to catch some trophy smallmouth bass and pike. As things worked our, by the afternoon the winds were so strong that our River Hawk was being blown into the Detroit River current at about 2-3 miles per hour.
This made things very interesting since we were casting our crankbaits up-stream and reeling them with the current. This was our opportunity to fish the new Rapala Scatter Crank and the results were excellent.
We caught both trophy smallmouth and pike fishing the same shorelines. The fishing was tough, but we managed to shoot an excellent TV show!
