Credit River, ON (Canada) – Fishing Report
Posted on November 29th, 2011Nov, 28th 2011
Started the day making some brown trout row sacks, peach and pink coloured sacks, then headed down to the Credit River with my friend Kevin Clarke. We both were running 8lb main line with 4 gram floats and 4lb maxima lead line. Put about six No. 4 bb sinkers rite below the float and six No. 2 bb’s rite above the P-Line micro swivel then a 2 to 3 foot lead with a No.10 raven hook. Only took about five drifts before I lost my first fish of the day then rite after that Kevin losses a fish, re-ties his hook, and catches his first steelhead ever. About ten minutes after moving I land the beast in the picture. Conditions were perfect, overcast sky’s with a temperature of 7 degrees and no wind. Water was clear also even though it rained yesterday.
