A week ago I featured John Grdosic’s Amazonian fishing trip catches and now it’s time to show you his sons Connor’s catches.
Part of the Amazonian river adventure is getting to and from the fishing spots. Some sections are nice and smooth and others rapids and fast water.
Peacock Bass are definitely the main draw to North American anglers since they are like a big bass on steroids.
Peacock’s come in many color variations. Some are bright yellow with stripes and others grayer with small dots that create latteral lines across both sides of their bodies.
Oh yes, there’s lots of other species of fish that will smash artificial lures including over 20 species of Phirannas!
