Clear-water Steelhead.
Posted on December 23rd, 2016Moe Assadian is an all weather angler. Even when the snow is flying and air temperatures are below zero, he’s still out chasing trophy Walleye from a boat, or steelhead in clear-water conditions.
Here’s some of his catches just prior to the snow coming down and also after. This is definitely the time to make the best drift presentation with light line, light floats and low-visibility fluorocarbon leaders, not to mention smaller hooks and roe bags.
All steelheaders appreciate the challenge of finding and catching these gorgeous fish when conditions are tough and water clear. That’s when size dosen’t matter and every fish is appreciated!
