Chinooks getting pretty dark.
Posted on October 25th, 2016After recent rains in southern Ontario tributary anglers are taking advantage of some more flow and getting into some “dark” Chinook action. While there are still some lighter color fish in the tributaries, many of the males that have been in longer are pretty dark.
Ryan Lavigne caught this torpedo-shaped male Chinook drifting an egg-imitation “sponge-cluster”. His friend James J Wyman landed the big brawly male that is the feature image in this post. If you are still looking to get into some river “Kings”, better do it soon as much of the run will be finished as we go into November.
