Brown Trout Anglers continue to catch trophy fish at Port Dalhousie, ON.

Posted on November 3rd, 2010

[nggallery id=346]I checked the brown trout fishing at Port Dalhousie from shore this morning and it looks like more anglers are hearing about the good fishing.  Anglers covered the east shoreline standing about 8′ apart.  Everyone was able to fish properly and land their fish.  I watched anglers for about 2-hrs. land quite a few trophy browns and some nice rainbows.  I also saw several large rainbows in the 12-15 lb. range break anglers lines.  All of the fish fish were caught drifting 3-way bottom-bouncing rigs along the bottom rigged with 1 oz. pencil sinkers and either spawn-sacks, single egg imitation, Lil’Corki drifters, or yarn-flies.  Looks like the fishing will remain optimum throughout November.
