Every wonder if those natural-colored soft-plastic swim baits work. Well, let me tell you, on a recent TV shoot at Red Pine Wilderness Lodge, Lady Evelyn Lake, ON, my on-camera guest, Ryan Edenborough landed the largest walleye of our trip on the Storm Live Perch 4′ soft-plastic!
This bait looks like a perch, swims like a perch and feeds walleye just like real perch! Ryan used a combination of reeling it in steady (in open-water), and jigging it gently around the weeds to hook his trophy! If you have not tries fishing these natural-looking/swimming baits, they really work!
This was our 4th trip to Red Pine Wilderness Lodge and really recommend it for avid anglers, novice anglers and the whole family. The owners Jeanna & Steve Sawyers, the owners are two of the friendliest people you will ever meet! If you enjoy a wilderness setting, great cottage accommodations, good food and excellent walleye fishing, book a trip to Red Pine Wilderness Lodge!
