Noel Gyger reports. A mix of sun and clouds with highs to +12 degrees Celsius. Skeena River is back in shape and fishing well for Steelhead and Coho. Tyee Test Fishery showing a record run of Steelhead this season – this is good news. Hope this trend holds! Coho run is way down this year. Kalum River is in good shape and fishing well for both Steelhead and Coho. Both fly and spin fishing are working well. Kitimat River is in good shape with lots of Coho holding up in the larger pools. Zymoetz (Copper) River is clean and fishing well for Steelhead. Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn, Dungness and Alaska King Crab is fair out of the ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
