BC tributary Steelhead & Coho Salmon update.

Posted on October 10th, 2017

Noel Gyger reports. Cloudy with showers highs to +13 degrees Celsius (GREAT fall weather). We’ve had some good rain falls and most rivers are borderline fishable Skeena River was fishing well for Steelhead and Coho.  Kalum River is fishing well for Steelhead and Coho. Guiding started April 1 and ends October 31. Kitimat River is fishing well for Coho and Trout. Skeena River tribs west of Terrace are fishing well for Coho. With recent rain higher water should have brought in more fish and the ones that we in would move higher upriver. Go get em! Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crab good out of the ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert. Re Douglas too much debris in water close in, you need to travel far out for clean water.

If you would like to book a river fishing guide or ocean charter for 2016-17, you can contact Noel Gyger at, www.noelgyger.ca .
