BC Steelhead fishing update.

In the featured image Tracey John Hittel of Kitimat Lodge with a beautiful pic of a wild Steelhead landed a couple of days ago. He also shows how to pose a fish using “Keep `em Wet” technique.

Noel Gyger reports. A mix of sun and cloud with temperatures around -8 degrees Celsius. Almost too cold to fish!  Kalum River Steelhead are in the river now. Note: Kalum has 4 runs of Steelhead, fall, winter, spring and summer. Skeena River in fair shape and fall Steelhead are still being caught. Zymoetz (Copper) River ~ Steelhead are in. Kitimat River when in good shape will be fishing well for Trout. Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crab good out of the ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
