BC fresh & saltwater fishing update.

Noel Gyger reports. Mainly cloudy and light rain with highs to +17 degrees Celsius. Kalum River fishing well for Steelhead and Chinook.

Skeena River is in fishable shape and Chinook are moving up river now; ad a report of some caught in the Smithers BC area. Zymoetz (Copper) River is clean enough to fish. Reg: No Fishing upstream of the sign at the transmission line crossing (downstream of Zymoetz Canyon) Jan 1 – June 15. Steelhead fishing below this closure is still permitted. Just need to find some open water and give it a shot. Lakelse River Bridge is starting to fish for Chinook. Kitimat River in good shape and fishing well for Steelhead and Trout; Chinook are starting to come in. Ocean fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Prawn and Crab good out of the ports of Kitimat and Prince Rupert.
