Posted on July 15th, 2021

Noel Gyger reports. Sunny with highs to +26 degrees C. Skeena River is dropping. The high water should bring in allot of fresh Chinook. Kalum River water high but in fair shape and fishing well for Chinook in the lower end, hopefully conditions hold? Kitimat River in good shape and fishing well for Chinook. Chum and Pink are coming soon. Zymoetz (Copper) River is dropping. Streelhead “were” being hooked in the lower end. Note this regulation: No Fishing upstream of the sign at the transmission line crossing (downstream of Zymoetz Canyon) Jan 1 – June 15. Steelhead fishing below this closure is still permitted. I highly recommend you book a trip on the ocean out of Kitimat. Contact Tracey John Hittel anytime via e-mail: tjhittel@telus.net  or give him a call on his cell phone 250-639-4277.  GOOD LUCK this weekend!
