Bay of Quinte walleye fishing report.Posted on May 25th, 2010
Gabor Horvat reports. We went to the the Bay of Quinte for the weekend to catch some nice walleye. The trip was successful. We needed to work hard to find, and catch fish. We used only one type of lure, the Rapala Tail Dancer TD, hot chub color (even broke some of them). We found lots of boats out there (beautiful weather, plus long weekend). Most of them were trolling with worm harness, and some anglers were also jigging. The conditions were perfect, but many fish were “locked jaws”. We worked hard and made many casts, which resulted in our catching some nice walleye. Most of the fish were between 1.5 to 3.5 pound. We also hooked a few pike fishing for walleye.
